Wow! I haven't seen any sale signs at the galleries here in LA. I was out shopping a couple of weeks ago (a rare event for me these days) and couldn't believe how many stores had sale signs. It's like there is a permanent sale everywhere now.
Will anyone buy when the sales are over and the economy improves? Or will we all just wait until the stores get desperate and put those signs up again?

At least they're not advertising a starving artists' sale, with sofa-sized paintings to match your decor.
